Description
A delicious and healthy avocado toast topped with cottage cheese, cherry tomatoes, and fresh basil.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 slice sourdough bread
- 1 small ripe avocado
- 1 serving cottage cheese (see note 1)
- to taste salt
- to taste pepper
- 1 handful cherry tomatoes (halved)
- 1 handful fresh basil (small or thinly sliced larger leaves)
- for drizzling olive oil
- for drizzling balsamic reduction
Instructions
- Toast sourdough bread and let it cool slightly.
- Thinly slice avocado and lightly mash it on toasted bread.
- Add a few spoonfuls of cottage cheese on top of the mashed avocado.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Arrange halved cherry tomatoes and basil leaves over cottage cheese.
- Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic reduction.
- Enjoy promptly!
