Description

A delicious baked ravioli dish layered with marinara and cheese.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 9 oz fresh or frozen ravioli (cheese, meat, or veggie)
  • 2 cups marinara sauce (homemade or high-quality jarred)
  • 2 cups shredded whole milk mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Fresh basil (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Spread half of the marinara sauce on the bottom of the dish.
  3. Layer half of the ravioli over the sauce.
  4. Sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese over the ravioli, then repeat with another layer of marinara sauce, ravioli, and top with remaining mozzarella cheese.
  5. Sprinkle Italian seasoning on top.
  6. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes, then remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  7. Allow to cool for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For a vegetarian option, choose cheese ravioli and omit any meat.
  • Garnish with fresh basil before serving for added flavor.
