- ½ cup peeled and chopped red beets
- ½ cup peeled and chopped banana (frozen)
- 1 stalk celery (chopped)
- 1 cup chilled plain yogurt (whole, low fat or plant-based)
- ¼ cup chilled milk (whole, skim, or plant-based)
- 2 teaspoons honey (use maple syrup or agave nectar for vegan)
Instructions
- Add all the ingredients to a high-speed blender.
- Blend until smooth.
- Add some more milk if the smoothie is thick for your liking.
- Check for honey and add more if needed.
- Pour the smoothie into serving glasses.
- Garnish with a sprig of mint and edible flowers (optional) and serve immediately.
