Description

A delicious recipe for stuffed jumbo pasta shells filled with a creamy cheese mixture and topped with marinara sauce.


Ingredients

  • 340 g (12 oz) jumbo pasta shells
  • 450 g (2 cups) ricotta cheese
  • 170 g (1½ cups) shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 50 g (½ cup) grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 720 ml (3 cups) marinara sauce
  • Fresh parsley or basil, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook jumbo shells according to package directions until al dente. Drain and cool slightly.
  2. In a bowl, mix ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spoon the cheese mixture into each shell.
  4. Spread 1 cup marinara sauce in a baking dish. Arrange stuffed shells on top.
  5. Pour remaining sauce over shells and cover tightly with foil.
