Description

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare your muffin tin with liners.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together whole wheat flour, bran flakes, baking powder, and brown sugar until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, beat milk, eggs, and canola oil until smooth.
  4. Gradually pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients while stirring gently; don’t overmix.
  5. Fold in any optional add-ins like dried fruits or nuts.
  6. Divide the batter evenly among muffin cups, filling each about two-thirds full.
  7. Bake for 18-20 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
