Description

A refreshing and colorful Caprese salad made with fresh mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, and basil.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup fresh mozzarella balls
  • 1 cup halved cherry tomatoes
  • ½ cup fresh basil leaves, roughly chopped
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic glaze
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Wash the cherry tomatoes and basil leaves, then halve the tomatoes.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine halved cherry tomatoes and fresh mozzarella balls; toss gently.
  3. Add chopped basil to the bowl and mix well.
  4. Drizzle olive oil over the mixture; season with salt and pepper.
  5. Finish with a drizzle of balsamic glaze before serving.
  6. Transfer to a serving dish and enjoy with crispy bread or veggie sticks.
