Description

A hearty beef stew made with tender beef chuck, cabbage, and vegetables, perfect for a comforting meal.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs beef chuck, cubed
  • 1 small head cabbage, chopped
  • 4 large carrots, sliced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 cups beef broth
  • 1 (14 oz) can diced tomatoes
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Place the cubed beef, chopped cabbage, sliced carrots, diced onion, and minced garlic in the slow cooker.
  2. Pour in the beef broth and diced tomatoes (undrained).
  3. Stir in the dried thyme, salt, and pepper, ensuring all ingredients are well-combined.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours or on high for 4 hours until the beef is incredibly tender and the vegetables are softened.
  5. Stir well before serving the hearty stew in deep bowls.
