- 1/2 cup pineapple juice
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 jalapeños, finely chopped
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil (for greasing)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine pineapple juice, brown sugar, chopped jalapeños, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, soy sauce, and black pepper. Mix well.
- Add chicken wings to the marinade, ensuring they are fully coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a baking sheet with olive oil.
- Arrange marinated chicken wings on the baking sheet in a single layer.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until chicken wings are crispy and cooked through, flipping halfway through cooking.
Notes
- For extra spice, keep the seeds in the jalapeños.
- Serve with a side of ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping.
