Description

This easy air fryer salmon recipe is flavorful and quick to prepare, making it a perfect weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 4 salmon fillets (56 oz each)
  • 2 tablespoons dijon mustard
  • Olive oil spray
  • Lemon wedges (for serving)
  • Fresh chopped herbs like parsley, basil, or dill

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F and spritz the air fryer basket with olive oil.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
  3. Pat the salmon dry with a paper towel. Spread a thin layer of dijon mustard over each salmon filet and then sprinkle with the seasoning mixture. Spritz each filet with olive oil.
  4. Place the salmon in the air fryer basket, skin-side down. Air fry for 8-10 minutes, depending on thickness, until it flakes easily with a fork and the internal temperature is between 130-135ºF.
  5. Finish with a squeeze of lemon and fresh herbs of choice.

Notes

  • Adjust cooking time based on the thickness of your salmon fillets.
  • For extra flavor, marinate the salmon in the dijon mustard and seasoning for 30 minutes before cooking.
