A delicious and easy beef taco pie perfect for weeknight dinners.

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
- 1 (4-ounce) can diced green chiles, drained
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup Bisquick baking mix
- 1 cup milk
- 2 large eggs
- As desired toppings: shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes, sliced olives, sour cream
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Grease a 9-inch pie dish.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and onion until beef is browned and onion is tender. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in taco seasoning, garlic powder, cayenne pepper (if using), and green chiles. Cook for 2 minutes more. Spoon mixture into prepared pie dish.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly over the meat mixture.
- In a small bowl, whisk together Bisquick mix, milk, and eggs until well blended. Pour over beef mixture in pie dish.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes or until the top is golden brown and a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let cool for 5 minutes before serving. Add your favorite toppings and enjoy!

- This recipe can be customized with your favorite toppings.
- For a spicier version, increase the cayenne pepper.
