  • 1/2 cup Honey (agave syrup is a vegan alternative)
  • 1/4 cup Brown sugar (maple syrup can also work)
  • 1 tablespoon Smoked paprika (can use regular paprika)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cayenne pepper (adjust based on heat preference)
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder (fresh onion is also an option)
  • 1 teaspoon Salt (use sea salt or kosher for best results)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1/2 cup Apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh lemon juice (lime juice can be a substitute)
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce (optional for umami twist)

  2. Stir in the honey and brown sugar until completely dissolved.

  4. Mix in the apple cider vinegar and fresh lemon juice.
