Description
Delicious chocolate caramel bars made with mini pretzels.
Ingredients

- 2 cups mini pretzels
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt flakes
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Line a 9×13 inch baking pan with parchment paper and arrange mini pretzels in a single layer.
- In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and brown sugar, stirring constantly until smooth and bubbly (about 3-4 minutes).
- Slowly pour in heavy cream while stirring continuously. Bring to a gentle boil and cook for 2 minutes until thickened.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and half of the sea salt flakes.
- Immediately pour caramel evenly over the pretzels in the pan.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips over the hot caramel. Let sit for 2 minutes until softened, then spread evenly with a spatula.
- Sprinkle remaining sea salt flakes over the chocolate.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours until completely set.
- Break into pieces and store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week.
